Martin Bálint

I am a doctoral researcher in the Computer Graphics group at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, where I conduct my PhD research under the supervision of Karol Myszkowski and Hans-Peter Seidel. I am enrolled as a doctoral candidate at Saarland University. My thesis is titled Efficient Monte Carlo Rendering through Learned Sampling and Reconstruction.

Before joining Max Planck, I studied Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, Churchill College. My undergraduate thesis examined predictable transactional memory.
